Presentation of the postgraduate course in Evaluation and Production of Technologies for SUS by the GHC
On the morning of Monday, December 15, during a meeting of the Association of Doctors of the Hospital Conceição (AMEHC) was presented the postgraduate course in Evaluation and Production of Technologies for the SUS. The course was presented by the board of the Hospitalar Conceição Group (GHC) and was attended by the director of the Department of Management and Incorporation of Health Technologies of the Ministry of Health, Clarice Alegre Petramale, and the Scientific Director of AMECH, Airton Tetelbom Stein. The master’s degree that was approved at the end of November should begin in the second half of 2015.
Dr. Clarice Alegre Petramale emphasized the growing importance of technologies for health, showing the need to open a new course, mainly due to the lack of professionals trained in technology management and who are familiar with the Unified Health System .
In the opinion of Júlio Baldisserotto, coordinator of the Evaluation and Production of Technologies for SUS of the GHC School and professor of the Faculty of Dentistry of UFRGS, “The Postgraduate Program for Evaluation and Production of Technologies for SUS aims to train professionals Capable of acting in a managerially strategic way in organizations and health systems based on a framework of critical analysis of evaluation and incorporation of health technologies. ”
