March 5, 2020Virtual Courses of Evaluation of Sanitary Technologies and Economic Evaluations of the Institute of Clinical and Sanitary Effectiveness (IECS)
The Institute of Clinical and Health Effectiveness (IECS) of Argentina, as a WHO / PAHO Collaborating Center in HTA, offer 6 scholarships annually (3 scholarships per semester) to RedETSA members to participate in their virtual courses. This semester, the courses offered by IECS are as follows::
- Development and implementation of Health Technology Assessments. Beginning: April 18, 2017
- Economic Evaluations: Programming, analysis and interpretation of models. Beginning: April 19, 2017
- Estimate of Costs for Economic Evaluations of Health Programs, Services and Technologies. Beginning: April 20, 2017
- Introduction to Sanitary Technologies Assessments and Economic Evaluations. Beginning: April 17, 2017
- Design, programming and analysis of Markov models in Microsoft Excel. Beginning: April 20, 2017
- Systematic reviews and meta-analyzes. Beginning: April 17, 2017
To apply for the scholarships, the following requirements must be met (in addition to the specific requirements of each course, described on the IECS website):
- Be a part of a RedETSA member institution
- Submit a letter of commitment with the completion of the activities and time required for the course and to support the courses institution (if the representative of the institution can not sign before the deadline, the applicants signature will be accepted. In this case, the signature of the representative of the institution will be required in the subsequent days)
- Complete the IECS Registration form and send your CV to lemgruba@paho.org with a copy to caccavof@paho.org
The application deadline is: March 26th 2017
The final definition of the beneficiaries will be made in consultation with the representations of PAHO in the countries to which the applicants belong.
