On March 7, 2022, the Central Therapeutic Directorate, Guatemalan Social Security Institute (IGSS), Guatemala was officially incorporated as a member of RedETSA. It is the first institution in the country to join RedETSA.

Dr. Andrés Eduardo Mejía Ramírez, from the Department of Pharmacotherapy, and Dr. Flor Estefanía García López, from the Department of Pharmacoeconomics, will be the focal points for participation in the Network.

With its incorporation, the Network reaches 40 members from 20 countries in the Americas Region. The Guatemalan Social Security Institute is the first institution in the country to join RedETSA.

We welcome the Central Therapeutic Directorate, Guatemalan Social Security Institute (IGSS), Guatemala, whose incorporation into the Network will result in a strengthening of the Network and its activities in the Region.
