New partnership – RedETSA & the University Center of Pharmacology of the National University of La Plata (CUFAR)

RedETSA would like to welcome its new member: University Center of Pharmacology of the National University of La Plata (CUFAR). Following this incorporation, the Network now has a total of 30 members in 14 countries in the Americas. 
CUFAR is an academic unit belonging to the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of La Plata, Argentina. In addition, CUFAR has been a WHO and PAHO Collaborating Center since 2004. 
CUFAR focuses on carrying out activities aimed at strengthening training in pharmacotherapy for students and physicians in service, which was extended to members of Pharmacotherapeutics Committees. It also includes advising Ministries of Health in Latin America and the Caribbean on various aspects related to medicines, such as the preparation and updating of lists of medicines, therapeutic forms and therapeutic guides.
We are confident that the inclusion of CUFAR will strengthen the RedETSA network and its ETS activities in the region.
