20 May, 2017New partnership – RedETSA & the Collaborating Center of the SUS for Health Technology Assessment and Excellence (CCATES) / Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG)
RedETSA wants to welcome its new member: the SUS Collaborating Center for Avaliação de Tecnologias e Excelência em Saúde (CCATES)/ Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) of Brazil. new addition to the Network brings the total number of member institutions to 31 in 14 different countries throughout the Americas.
CCATES at UFMG is a center of scientific and technical cooperation, Its role is to develop projects in the areas of epidemiology, pharmacovigilance and health economics, to train professionals to promote the qualification of the Unified Health System and to promote the production and dissemination of independence and non-profit scientific evidence.
RedETSA is confident that the inclusion of CCATES/UFMG will strengthen the network and its HTA activities in the region.
