Organization of the meeting

The 5th Meeting of the Health Technology Assessment Network of the Americas (RedETSA) was held in Washington DC, USA on June 13 and 14, 2014.

Topics discussed included an update on RedETSA activities, and a presentation of international institutions such as INAHTA, EunetHTA, Euroscan International Network, HTAsiaLink. Topics discussed included types of HTA reporting, managing conflicts of interest, and a mapping of HTA capacities and skills. Finally, the work plan for the meeting in Mexico in November 2014 was discussed. On June 13, a workshop on HTA and health prioritization for universal coverage was organized.
